Lessons in Seduction is a series of looping videos of cropped pornographic films which show different women displaying their very similar tools of flirtation. Winking, smiling or a coquettish tilt of the head becomes their only means of communication. Their eyes constantly flickering up and down, from themselves to the person watching them creates a rhythmic pattern of looking. Cropped out of their bodies we are forced to focus on the subtle shifts in their expressions and to notice when their flirtatious display cracks to show moments of awkward realisation.
